Janhvi Kapoor remembers Sridevi on her birth anniversary

Sridevi died in a tragic case of accidental drowning in her suite at Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel in Dubai on February 24.


It has nearly been a year and a half since Sridevi passed away but she yet continues to live in the hearts of her fans.

Sridevi, born in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu on August 13, 1963, began acting at the age of four and as an eight-year-old, she won Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artiste. He stated, "Today is an ambivalent day as we commend you on what might have been your 56th Birthday..." Janhvi, who was the Dhadak of Sridevi, penned down a simple birthday message for her mom and wrote, "Happy birthday Mumma, I love you". She was not only a phenomenal actress but was also an endearing mother. Sridevi had already shot her scenes for "Zero" before she passed away. Sometimes we laugh by remembering the times we cried, and we cry by remembering the days we laughed;! #Sridevi." Sunita Kapoor posted a picture with Sridevi on her Instagram, and captioned it, "Memories are always special. "That's life. Happy birthday Sri.Miss you so much". She had gone to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah. "I am touched that Madame Tussauds is honouring my wife, Sridevi Kapoor, and her work by having her figure immortalised".


Earlier in the day, Janhvi Kapoor's Instafam woke up to find an emotional post on her timeline, dedicated to her mother, who would have been 56 today. Several fans were heartbroken on hearing about Bollywood's first female superstar's demise and soon wishes from all sides started pouring in. Anil Kapoor, Sridevi's brother-in-law, who has also worked with the screen icon on blockbusters such as Mr India, Lamhe, Laadla, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja and Judaai.
