Liverpool, Bournemouth in Wilson talks

Bournemouth have taken on many Liverpool players in the past, with the likes of Jordan Ibe, Dominic Solanke both signing and Nathaniel Clyne spending half of the season on loan.

Bournemouth and Liverpool are holding talks regarding a possible loan deal for Harry Wilson.

Wilson is one of several talented youngsters that have emanated out of the Liverpool academy, who have failed to break the stronghold of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

At 22-Years-Old, Wilson is at a crucial stage in his development as a still young footballer.

Liverpool are prepared to loan him out, after the £25m valuation wasn't met.

Brooks is expected to miss at least three months of action after suffering an ankle injury, so the Cherries are eager to bolster their options on the wing as soon as possible.

Wilson's loan move to Bournemouth will surely be his last chance to prove himself.

It's Transfer Deadline Day for the Premier League and Championship on Thursday August 8 and Sky Sports will be bringing you all the latest news on who your club is signing.

Liverpool have not inserted an obligation to buy in negotiations as they see the move as an opportunity for Wilson to further develop by gaining Premier League experience after he impressed Jurgen Klopp during preseason.

The Champions League holders could also command a fee and penalty payments if their criterion are not met.

Following previous spells with Crewe and Hull, Wilson spent last season on loan at Derby where he scored 17 times in 46 appearances as the Rams reached the Sky Bet Championship play-off final.
