An explanation has emerged for Antonio Brown's nasty feet: frostbite

Brown has filed a grievance with the league asking to wear the same helmet he wore last season.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown appears to have been caught fibbing, with blisters on his feet actually a case of frostbite.

According to National Football League analyst Chris Simms, Brown burned his feet in a cryotherapy machine and they became frostbitten from not using the correct footwear, per ProFootballTalk.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio on Wednesday that Brown was "still collecting information" on the injury, and that the team would know more in the next few days.

The long-running HBO series, "Hard Knocks" will feature the Raiders in 2019.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Brown saw a foot specialist for his condition on Sunday and is now listed as day-to-day.

We also got our first look at the newest Raiders, including the rookies, like Johnathan Abram, who certainly stole the show in Episode 1.

The Raiders acquired the seven-time Pro Bowl selection from the Pittsburgh Steelers in a trade in March and later signed him to a three-year, $50.125 million contract.

We love Brown explaining it to the little kid while noting that Derek Carr is now his quarterback.

Brown spent the first nine years of his career playing with Roethlisberger, to the tune of 11,207 receiving yards and 74 touchdowns.
