Fueled by the heat and humidity of the day, some of the storms could be strong. Lows: Upper 60s to low 70s.

The radar forecast shows the line of storms becoming more scattered as the storms move southeast overnight. We will stay dry this evening, with temperatures falling back to around 80 by 10pm. Highs will be in the low-mid 80s about 5-8 degrees below average for this time of year.


There's a slight chance for a few hopeful showers Thursday morning. Winds SE 5-10 miles per hour.

Friday and the weekend are looking nice, with lots of sun and highs in the lower 80s, the weather service says. Wind: S/SE 10-15. High: 97. Rain chances continue through next week as well with the chance for some scattered showers and storms each evening. Temperatures really heating up, with many spots in the low 90s around the metro area. A few storms will be possible by mid-afternoon with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
