President Trump says Melania told him about A$AP Rocky's Sweden arrest

Unfortunately, their efforts have not yet paid off because according to new reports, prosecutors have been pushing for the AWGE artist to remain in jail for the time being.

Kim Kardashian has confirmed news that she lobbied Donald Trump to assist with the release of A$AP Rocky from Swedish detention.

Member of the Congressional Black Caucus have also gotten involved, calling on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to step in on Rocky's behalf. But I can tell you he has tremendous support from the African-American community in this country.


ASAP Rocky has been jailed in Sweden since the beginning of July without being charged.

Although the State Department has been following up with Swedish authorities about the case, a Swedish court ruled Friday that Rocky would be detained an additional week while the investigation of the altercation continued.

The 30-year-old rapper and two of his friends were arrested early July 3 on suspicion of assault after coming in voluntarily to answer police questions about a June 30 street fight that was captured on several different videos. Many, many members of the African-American community have called me, friends of mine, and said can you help? It was not clear who else was involved. Despite footage showing him attacking the man, Rocky said he acted in self-defense. Asked how A$AP Rocky felt about it, Jovicic replied this was "a very bad experience".


Rocky, the platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated artist, has seen many celebrities including Kim Kardashian West, her rapper husband, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber come to his support since his arrest.

Reps. Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.), Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), André Carson (D-Ind.) and Joaquin Castro (D-Tex.) again demanded the rapper's release Thursday in a statement ahead of Rocky's pretrial hearing. One person from the rapper's crew, whom the rapper later claimed was his bodyguard, can be heard telling the two men to "go that way - you following us" and another person can be heard saying, "Nobody wants to fight with you bro". "Your commitment to justice reform is so appreciated", she tweeted.
