What Pogba Told Wan-Bissaka Before His Manchester United Debut

The France global is eager for a new challenge and hopes to leave Old Trafford before the new campaign gets underway, according to his agent Mino Raiola.

After two weeks of hard pre-season training, Manchester United finally got some minutes into their legs, playing their first friendly against A-League side Perth Glory in Western Australia.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United are confident that they can sign the England worldwide centre back for less than the valuation from Leicester City.

The last time the club from "Anfield" has become a national champion 30 years ago in 1989/90, before the creation of the English Premier League.


The Belgian worldwide has fallen down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has set his sight on Marcus Rashford deploying as the first striker at the club.

Asked directly whether Pogba is one of the names under consideration, Solskjaer replied: "Yep".

With United unable to bring in a stellar striker so far this summer, Solskjaer was said to be keen on handing the former Everton man another chance to prove his worth at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be wanting to sign a defender before the start of the season and is keeping his options open while negotiations with Leicester City for Harry Maguire continue.

Along with Lukaku, several other first-team players too missed the game due to injury issues.


James also explained how he has already had conversations with United's full-backs over the relationships they can build.
