Tips to navigate Amazon's Prime Day

You can safely bet on Amazon products, like the Amazon Echo and Amazon Kindle, to go on sale on Prime Day, so holding off on purchasing these until then is a good strategy.

Join us a 12:30 p.m. Monday for a special Amazon Prime Day LIVE guide program right here on ClickOnDetroit!

As well as all the deals madness that will be spread far and wide, there are some other features to this year's Prime Day.

Amazon Prime Day 2019 is nearly here.

In case you're confused or if you've never shopped on a Prime Day sale before, we've put together a simple guide to help you out. If you're not already, there's never been a better time to sign up. Prime members get unlimited photo storage and 5GB of video storage.

Best Buy is planning to again run its "Big Deal Days" to coincide with Prime Day, although details have yet to be announced. But there will also be discounts on other electronics.

Shoppers at this year's Amazon Prime Days (July 15 and 16) could spend more than $5 billion during the sale period that has been extended from last year's 36-hour extravaganza to 48 hours this year. Students get all the same benefits with a 6-month free trial and a reduced membership for 4 years. Amazon also signed up a record amount of Amazon Prime members around the world.

Customers can use the Amazon Pay cashback on all their favourite purchases, bill payments and recharges on Amazon or at Amazon's offline and online partner merchants including BookMyShow, Swiggy, Domino's, Redbus and more where Amazon Pay is accepted.

You don't need Amazon Prime Day coupon codes for most of the deals in 2019, but there are some from Amazon and there will be others from individual retailers. To make the most out of the sale, make sure you're well prepared. Amazon represented a whopping 49.1% of USA retail sales in 2018, per eMarketer.

You'll end up purchasing things you don't need, just because it looked like a good deal. You can find the nearest Amazon Store near you via this link. You can save $120 when you buy two Fire HD 10 tablets for $179.98.
