Impeach Donald Trump. There Is No Choice

With the release of the Mueller report, some Democrats are calling for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings.

The president disregard for legal boundaries is no surprise, according to the Washington Post. McGahn told the special counsel the president called him twice, saying "Mueller has to go".

It's hard to determine the legal spending of President Bill Clinton's re-election campaign because of changes in Federal Election Commission campaign expenditures and the timing of various investigations that happened during his presidency, according to ABC News.

It has become a flashpoint after Trump's administration signaled it was considering invoking the privilege to block Congress' attempt to subpoena former White House counsel Don McGahn, an important figure in the Mueller investigation, to appear and provide documents.

Or after the then Minister of justice Jeff Session tried to explained for self-conscious and to persuade Trump to oversee the investigations.

"We specifically asked [Mueller] about the OLC (Office of Legal Counsel) opinion and whether or not he was taking a position that he would have found a crime but for the existence of the OLC opinion".

A 58 percent majority of Americans say the Mueller report has not changed their impression of the Trump administration. "If I wanted to fire Mueller, I didn't need McGahn to do it, I could have done it myself".

"In making this determination, we noted that the Special Counsel recognized that 'the evidence does not establish that the President was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference, ' and that, while not determinative, the absence of such evidence bears upon the President's intent with respect to obstruction", Barr wrote in his initial summary. The president knows a court battle will keep him in the clear until after the 2020 election.

Another link between Nixon and Trump: obstruction of justice.

"We're fighting all the subpoenas", he said.

"It's sad that campaign resources have had to be devoted to defending ourselves against the baseless Russian Federation hoax and endless witch hunt", Trump campaign's deputy communications director Erin Perrine told ABC News.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein allegedly suggested wearing a wire to secretly record conversations with President Trump in the hopes of entrapping him to lead to his overthrow. Many damning facts have already been revealed over the course of this investigation.

The 448-page Mueller report details 10 categories of potential obstruction of justice, and relays multiple contacts between Trump aides and Russians during the campaign - but does not find he or subordinates conspired with Russians to hack Democratic emails.

Trump has indeed been named by the Southern District of NY as a participant in Cohen's campaign finance violations, which relate to the hush-money payments made to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.

Most of the Republicans in Congress, especially in the Senate, as well as the Trump voters, welcome Russia's interference as long as it helps their man, Trump.

Legal experts said House Democrats could vote to hold Mnuchin or IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig in contempt of Congress if they ignore a subpoena, as a step toward suing in federal court to obtain the returns. To say he's been implicated in one is more accurate. But it's also possible that as we get closer to the 2020 election many will agree with presidential candidate Bernie Sanders' argument that it's a "distraction" from a presidential campaign that is the only way Trump can actually be removed from office.
