Kodak Black Arrested at Border on Gun and Drug Charges

"U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations continuously works in collaboration with our law enforcement partners, which include federal, state and local agencies". According to New York State Police (via USA Today), Black (whose real name is Bill Kapri) was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana after he and three other men tried to enter the US via the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. Two other men in the vehicle with him, 24-year-old Stetson President and 20-year-old Madarrow Smith, were also arrested on weapons charges. State police, who were called in, said that Black was found to have marijuana, and a loaded Glock 9mm pistol was discovered in the vehicle. He was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, - a second degree felony - and a misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge. Jeantony Saintmelus was also slapped with the same weapons charge as well as unlawful possession of marijuana.

Kapri is also known as Kodak Black.

Black, who also faces a charge in SC of first-degree criminal sexual misconduct on allegations he raped a woman after a 2016 concert, was arraigned in a town court and remanded to county jail.

The other three men face similar charges from weapons and drugs found in the Porsche.

TMZ reports that Kodak was arrested on drugs and weapons charges at The U.S. Border.

Earlier in the day, Kapri mysteriously canceled two concerts at the House of Blues in Boston.

Although Kodak never made it to his Boston show, his tour bus turned up and angry fans screamed "f*ck Kodak Black". Kodak has a show at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in CT tonight that has been canceled.
