PS4 Full Game Downloads Being Pulled From Retailers, Sony Confirms

At Sony's first State of Play livestream event, a new Iron Man VR video game for PlayStation 4 was revealed, complete with a trailer that puts players inside Tony Stark's armor so they can soar through the sky and blast enemies.

The memo was uncovered by Twitter user Wario64, which explains that "Sony will no longer provide full game digital download codes" to be redeemed on the PlayStation Store starting April 1.

You can check out the reveal trailer below.

In Marvel's Iron Man VR, players can suit up in Tony Stark's iconic red and gold suit as he flies through the air with a heads-up display similar to the ones seen in the current Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's due out later this year.

Chief among those were first looks at Iron Man VR and No Man's Sky VR.

PlayStation is moving to be a lot more like Nintendo and Xbox as they offer direct broadcasts announcing new games, content, and release dates. A VR game from the same studio that created London Heist, it seems to follow a similar gangster crime movie theme. That makes it hard to discern what the game will look like and how it feels when it comes closer to release date.

We also got the news that neon graffiti adventure game Concrete Genie is getting a VR mode.

At this point, we can only speculate with so little to go on from Sony directly. It has a cool creepy tone, and is releasing on PS4 and PC on 21st May 2019.

Update: Just a reminder that the show kicks off at 8.00 am AEDT today. We didn't learn anything terribly new from the trailer. Namely, Mortal Kombat 11, which showed off some of the franchise's best-known characters facing off against doppelganger versions of themselves.
