'Mortal Kombat 11' Reveals Noob Saibot as New Fighter

A third character, meanwhile, is set to be announced during NetherRealm's C2E2 panel this Friday.

Legendary adversary Shang Tsung will skip the base game and be made available as downloadable content.

Noob Saibot is returning to the franchise in MK 11.

In this entry, his whole island is a the Krypt where players can buy character cosmetics, developer art and other "Mortal Kombat" unlockables for in-game currency.

During the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, the second of the two Mortal Kombat 11 fighters were revealed.

In a reveal trailer that was unleashed early today, NetherRealm Studios have unveiled a new character for the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 11. Prior to that, a story trailer confirmed gunslinger Erron Black and Cassie Cage, one of the so-called Kombat Kids along with the aforementioned Jacqui Briggs, will also be returning. Now, however, NetherRealm have revealed exactly what players will be able to get up to next week. But, unlike Shang Tsung, this fighter will be part of the game's main roster.

That gameplay and more that shows Noob Saibot's gruesome fatality can be seen above in NetherRealm's official trailer for the new fighter. Shang Tsung, one of the most iconic characters in all of Mortal Kombat is a great addition to MK11, but it's his character model and voice that makes him even cooler.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta kicks off on March 27, with the full game arriving on April 23 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
