$625M jackpot at stake in Saturday Powerball drawing

With no jackpot victor in Saturday's Powerball drawing, the top prize is rolling over to an estimated $750 million.

The Powerball numbers drawn Saturday night were 66, 52, 60, 24, 25 and a Powerball of 5. That was because the Powerball jackpot was worth a staggering $638 million.

But be warned: The odds of winning are 1 in roughly 292,000,000. No one has won the Powerball Jackpot since the day after Christmas.

If no Saturday's drawing doesn't produce a victor, the jackpot will roll over once again to Wednesday.

Wednesday's jackpot is the fourth largest behind the world record $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot in January 2016; $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot won in October 2018; and the $758.7 million Powerball drawing from August 2017. The Powerball number was 05. Not a lot, but enough to buy yourself a couple more tickets.

"It only takes one ticket to win".

Saturday night's Powerball drawing was held at 11 p.m. EST.

Since Texas joined in the multi-state Powerball games in 2010, there have been two jackpot winners here, lottery officials say. The person received a one-time payout of $878 million, the largest ever awarded to a single lottery player.

"This is the second $1,000,000 victor from Delaware in just two months", said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery in a statement.

The North Carolina ticket was sold in Gaston County at the Lowell Mini Mart on McAdenville Road in Lowell, according to a release from the N.C. Education Lottery.
