Epic Games Store Titles, Including Exclusives, Headed to Humble Store

That's good news for fans of the franchise, and it appears that the game's switch to Epic Games Store has been a success. The Outer Worlds will launch on the Windows 10 storefront, though, and being published by Take-Two's new Private Division label. Epic didn't say whether or not the game's Steam pre-orders counted towards the higher sales numbers.

In the midst of Epic's "State of Unreal" briefing at GDC today the company confirmed plans to bring a bunch of old and upcoming games to its Epic Games Store, including exclusives from devs like Remedy, Quantic Dream, Obsidian, and more.

It looks as though Heavy Rain could be releasing on PC in the near future, perhaps as an Epic Games Store exclusive.

The VG247 report also mentions that Subnautica and Slime Rancher, which were available for free via Epic Games Store for two weeks, each received over 4.5 million downloads on the platform.

The Outer Worlds, a single-player, first-person science fiction RPG title, has the player journeying through space. According to some new stats shared by Epic Games, clearly the move to making the latest entry in the series an Epic Games Store exclusive seems to have paid off. The PC gaming userbase near unanimously disagrees with Epic's exclusivity buy ups.
