Kellyanne Conway's Husband Diagnoses Trump, So Trump Returns The Favor

Trump's feud with George Conway played out with ever more heated rhetoric on social media.

Trump issued another response to his counselor's husband's tweets on Wednesday morning, firing back that "Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is very jealous of his wife's success" and referring to Mr. Conway as "a stone cold loser [and] husband from hell!" "You think he should just take that sitting down?" Somebody needs to tell Mr. Melania Trump to #BeBest.

George Conway has been a persistent critic of Trump's policies and actions, frequently going on Twitter to question whether the President is operating within the Constitution and other accepted boundaries.

Conway has used his Twitter feed and occasional op-ed essays to defend against Trump's attacks on the rule of law - and lately to point out what he sees as the president's instability.

According to the New York Times, George Conway actually withdrew his name from consideration for a top Justice Department position during the 2017 transition.

"I don't know him".

And it seemed likely to bring the situation to a painful head - particularly after George Conway responded to Trump's latest tweet with this succinct response: "You. Are".

Trump relied heavily on Kellyanne Conway, a longtime Republican pollster and strategist, to help steer his presidential campaign to victory in 2016.

Following Trump's 50-plus tweets (and retweets) over the weekend, George Conway tweeted out the definitions of narcissistic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

"A total loser!" Trump added.

Trump made another attack against Conway on Wednesday, which included a notion that Conway's criticisms against the president were due to jealousy over his wife Kellyanne Conway getting a job in the White House and not him.

- George Conway's animus to Trump is born primarily from jealousy he feels toward his wife for her success.

"Don't assume that the things he says and does are part of a rational plan or strategy, because they seldom are", Conway wrote on Twitter. "The mendacity, the incompetence, it's just maddening to watch". "I said it's a good story". She is a trusted member of his White House inner circle. "That's basically it. Frankly, it's so I don't end up screaming at her about it", he told the Post.
