Arizona Cardinals Reportedly Targeting Kyler Murray With No. 1 Pick

In the past players such as Byron Jones, Shaquem Griffin, and John Ross have stolen the show and had their draft stock increase.

Josh Rosen #3 of the Arizona Cardinals warms up for the National Football League game against the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium on December 23, 2018 in Glendale, Arizona.

Murray, who measured in at 5-foot-10 1/8 and 207 pounds, said he wasn't sure what his height would come in at but knew he'd weigh in over 200 pounds, and intends to play around his current weight.

"It would be fun, and it'd be a great deal if I was picked No. 1". Murray expressed his desire to be the No. 1 pick, while later saying he wouldn't be upset if he wasn't or if other quarterbacks were taken ahead of him.

Wednesday morning: Arizona general manager Steve Keim is asked if Josh Rosen is the team's starting quarterback in light of all the talk tying Murray to the Cardinals and coach Kliff Kingsbury. Now, we turn to the biggest part of the combine for many fans: the quarterback workouts.

Earlier this week, NFL Draft analyst Louis Riddick told ABC15 he thinks it's "more probable than not" that the Cardinals will trade Rosen and draft Murray. "None of them knew for sure, obviously, and the Cards brain trust wasn't ready to tip its hand". "What you see in college is not much (different from) what you see on Sundays, so I think me and him being together, it'd be nice". He's always been very fond of me, and I respect that, and I'm not taking that for granted.

The Cardinals selecting Murray would be fantastic news for the San Francisco 49ers, who don't need a quarterback. "He's always someone I could go to if I needed anything". The team would have their choice of pass rushers, including Nick Bosa of Ohio State.

Gary could blow people away with his athleticism on the field, and then answer a lot of questions that surround his position in the interview process. "He's an electric player".
