Liverpool's Gomez to have leg surgery

City are two points behind Liverpool following yesterday's big win over Arsenal, and any result besides a defeat for West Ham would help the Blues out massively in the title race.

"They have midweek with the Champions League, so it's not easy to compete in all the competitions".

"When you have no concerns on your mind you are able to win a lot of times", Gundogan said.

"But I'm kind of anxious about Liverpool because it's not even in March yet and I'm seeing signs that they do look a bit nervous".

The teams will face on Monday at London Stadium in a Premier League Round 25 game.

"It's a blow for the boy and for us - because prior to the injury he was in such fantastic shape", Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool's official website.

"We are still second".

"Klopp has solid and reliable midfielders who are doing a good job, but you don't see any of them producing wonder goals when the chips are down and that piles all the pressure on Salah, Firmino and Mane to deliver week after week".

"It is not exactly going how we want - that's how it is".

"I remember somebody asking [about the quadruple] past year before we lost at Wigan [in the FA Cup]", he said.

The Egyptian maverick goes into the game as the leading goalscorer in the Premier League, with 16 strikes against his name so far, while he also has seven assists to go along with. He needs more time. I'm just gutted we didn't come away with the three points.
