Rihanna is suing her father for allegedly booking fake shows

The documents also allege that Ronald made several unsuccessful attempts to file trademark for "Fenty" to launch a "resort hotel services" with the hope of "exploiting Rihanna's name and brand".

Rihanna files a lawsuit against her own father, Ronald Fenty.

Rihanna has a long and tumultuous history when it comes to her father and business.

The pop star turned business mogul has previously discussed her rocky relationship with her father. She had since trademark the brand in her name and slapped it on various products including makeup, lipsticks, lingerie, and a fashion line in collaboration with Puma called Fenty X Puma. In her legal docs, Rihanna accused her dad and his business partner of soliciting millions of dollars from unsuspecting investors by falsely claiming to be her rep. In court documents, she states that her father and his partner tried to book her for 15 shows in Latin America in December 2017 for $15M - even though she never gave them any sort of authorization.

According to court docs obtained by the news outlet, Rihanna claims that her father and Perkins "have egregiously and fraudulently misrepresented to third parties and the public" the fact that their company, Fenty Entertainment, is also affiliated with the famous singer and that it also has the authority to act on Rihanna's behalf!

She has sent multiple cease and desist letters to her father, but he has ignored them and continues to profit off Fenty Entertainment.

The 30-year-old is now asking a judge to place an injunction on her father so he can stop jeopardizing her empire with fraudulent activity. She is also suing for unspecified damages.
