Headliners Tame Impala hinted at a new album, writing that "new sounds" are coming in 2019.

As we reported, Kanye West was in talks to be one of the headliners for this year's festival, but ended up backing out because organizers wouldn't let him design his own stage.

Saturday's bill includes Solange, Kid Cudi, J Balvin, Wiz Khalifa, Sheck Wes, Idris Elba, Virgil Abloh, Sabrina Claudio, SiR, and Murda Beatz. The festival will stream live on YouTube both weekends.

The 25-year-old reportedly is replacing Kanye West, who was initially slated to perform at Coachella for 2019, according to TMZ. Rumours of his appearance at the cult music festival began a year ago alongside whispers of Justin Timberlake and Childish Gambino.

Famed for its glitz, glamour, sunshine and A-list celebrity attendees, Coachella is held annually in the grounds of the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on consecutive weekends in mid-April.

Ariana Grande is continuing to spend some quality time with late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's beloved pooch. "The 7" pressing of the single, which comes with her recently released song "Imagine" on the B-side, is available to purchase on her website. Last year, she surprised festival goers by performing her latest single "No Tears Left to Cry" during Kygo's second weekend set.
