Christian Pulisic confident he will fit in at Chelsea this summer

United States goalkeeper Tim Howard has tabbed Christian Pulisic for success following the 20-year-old's much-publicized €64 million ($73 million) transfer to Premier League giants Chelsea earlier this week.

Chelsea, on the other hand, have almost dished out a cool £20 million on top of that to secure his services, apart from loaning him back to Dortmund for the rest of the season as well.

"I've seen their style of play", Pulisic told reporters at Borussia Dortmund's warm weather training camp in Marbella, Spain on Saturday.

"After a good start to the season, I had to deal with some hard injuries and those who played then did extremely well".

The Italian boss is obviously not happy with his side's lack of cutting edge as he fears it could hinder the club from their mission of qualifying for the Champions League next season with a top four finish.

"As I said in my social media statement, I'm one hundred per cent committed for the rest of the season and I would like to have a happy ending with Dortmund".

Pulisic stayed quiet on the rumors regarding Liverpool's interest in him and declined to comment whether th club had made a move for him during this window.

Pulisic becomes the second most expensive outfield player in Chelsea's history, after striker Alvaro Morata.

"I do not want to talk about that".

Pulisic has lost his starting place in Lucien Favre's team over the last six months, but insisted it had no impact on his move to Stamford Bridge. Players came in and did extremely well.

Chelsea will face Newcastle United in their next Premier League fixture following a goalless draw with Southampton on Wednesday. I just feel it was the right time for me'.

"We have accepted a lucrative offer for Pulisic, given the little time he has left on his contract", Zorc said upon announcing the deal.
