PlayStation Plus January 2019 Free Games Revealed

PlayStation Plus January 2019 Free Games Revealed

The games will be free for download starting 1 January and will last around a month before the games reverts to their original prices.

First, fans were upset with the 20 games picked for the system, feeling that a number of can't-miss PlayStation games were left off the final list. Steep is a sports game focusing on winter sports, mainly focusing on things like skiing, snowboarding, wingsuiting, and paragliding that you can play in a shared world with your friends.

To start off with, we have Steep and Portal Knights on the PS4.

Members of the subscription service can also have fun with Zone of the Enders. Walmart, GameStop and Best Buy are all offering the PS Classic now at the new low price. Think Guitar Hero, but with blasters instead of a plastic instrument. Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion is a side-scrolling action RPG, with players controlling up to four characters at once. On the down side, however, it's missing several major titles like Silent Hill, Gran Turismo, Vagrant Story, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Ape Escape, PaRappa the Rappa, and Darkstalkers. The second free Vita title is Super Mutant Alien Assault.

We remind you that you are still in time to download the games that arrived on PlayStation Plus in December. "Maybe there will be two each for PlayStation and Xbox, but I would be surprised if there were more than two, and I'm not sure whether Sony is committed to doing that". Just remember, while nostalgia helps ease the memories, not every game from the late '90s was a classic.
