Mourinho is seen to confront Pogba about the video in the Sky Sports footage, in an attempt to establish whether he was making light of the shock penalty shoot-out defeat.

This after Pogba watched United's surprise Carabao Cup defeat to Derby County on Tuesday evening from the Old Trafford stands, just hours after being told he will never captain the club again.

The latest spat involving Pogba and Mourinho came on the training ground on Wednesday, when the pair seemed to share a heated exchange.

Manchester United's senior players are "angry and frustrated" with manager Jose Mourinho, ESPN have revealed.

The Guinea global who began his career with La Liga side Celta Vigo has previously played in leagues at various levels in leagues across England, Scotland ant Italy.

According to reports, Mourinho can be heard saying "get out" to a confused looking Frenchman and it appears it was all down to an Instagram post.

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has not drawn up any plans to part ways with either Jose Mourinho or Paul Pogba.

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici was asked about the speculation linking Pogba with Juventus and said on Thursday: 'He is a Manchester United player.

I think it's fair to say that many are beginning to doubt Mourinho's reign in charge at Old Trafford after an average start to the season, on top of a lacklustre transfer window.

It followed comments made by Pogba after last weekend's disappointing home draw against Wolves where he moaned about his side's defensive tactics. "When we play like [that] it's easier for us".

While Mourinho was busy bickering with Pogba in front of the cameras at Carrington, Zidane was all smiles as he and wife Veronique enjoyed a pleasant promenade around London.
