The latest look at Odyssey comes in the form of a forty second TV spot, which features gameplay and a brief story overview. However, Assassin's Creed III Remastered won't be exclusive to the season pass, as Ubisoft will be launching it as a standalone purchase as well. The story will apprise players of the backstory behind the assassins. In a saga filled with twists and turns, players will get even closer to Greek mythology and the First Civilization. Gameplay mechanics and ergonomics have also been improved. Episodes will start arriving in the Spring of 2019, also spaced six weeks apart. Assassin's Creed III Remastered will release in March 2019. At the time of its release, Assassin's Creed III was considered to be something of a disappointment. Follow Aveline's story as she battles Spanish forces in the American south to win freedom for her land and people. All of this content will be free for everybody who owns the game.

Free episodic quest lines will release regularly in-between episodes, providing a constant flow of new stories for players to discover. They haven't disclosed the full list of intended improvements, but considering that this is a remaster and not a remake, it's likely that this new version of the title won't feature any major changes to the base game. It will also be hosting a number of in-game events that everybody can participate in including daily quests and unique and challenging enemies.

Discovery Tour: The educational tool that lets anyone explore the game in a conflict-free environment, will be available for Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Ubisoft said the Assassin's Creed Odyssey development team is "committed to support the game" and will continue to provide additional content in the future.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey has an October 5 release date, but those with Gold, Collectors, or Ultimate Editions will be able to jump in on October 2.
