Prior to her immaculate performance as Wonder Woman, Gadot's name was barely recognizable.
I'm so excited to finally announce that I am playing a character named Shank in Disney's #RalphBreaksTheInternet hitting theaters this November! Such an awesome experience to be a part of this project with such great creators and cast!
This latest photo from Ralph Breaks the Internet introduces Shank, a tough and talented driver in an intense online racing game called Slaughter Race.
Ralph Breaks the Internet will start scoring high with audiences November 21.
In the new movie, Ralph and Vanellope meet Shank when they venture into the internet in search of a replacement part for Vanellope's game, Sugar Rush. Giselle died in Furious 6, so Ralph Breaks the Internet is probably the closets that fans will get to seeing the character again. Unlike returning characters Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (voiced by Sarah Silverman), Shank is realistically proportioned and clearly created to fit into a much different type of video game than they are.
Co-director Phil Johnston adds that the image also depicts exactly what the movies are about: "What happens when the arcade is closed and how do these characters behave when no one's looking?"
In the racing sequence we see that Shank is visibly impressed with the driving that Vanellope von Schweetz is doing in Slaughter Race, but Ralph is clearly not on board with the whole deadly competition side of things. "I can't imagine anyone else embodying that part". Let us know in the comment section below!
