Dez Bryant tells me he's "got a plan" for a return to the National Football League. and that the plan includes a visit next week to the Cleveland Browns. ". Maybe he's still thinking about other stuff".
The unusual saga of the courtship of Dez Bryant by John Dorsey has finally resulted in a first date.
Bryant then took to Twitter to tell Dorsey, as well as his 3.5 million followers, that he wouldn't mind playing for the Browns but that he isn't ready yet.
One Instagram user, nevertheless, thought that Bryant's tweets during the Browns' preseason opener were out of necessity, rather than a want to play for the team.
On Tuesday night, Landry posted tweets that revisited the notion of Bryant coming to Cleveland.
It seems like the final answer though is that there is interest on both sides and Bryant himself says he will be visiting the Land. Bryant, however, just might be too tough to get a hold of. "... I'm not on anybody time ..."
Bryant, who played his first seven seasons in the National Football League with the Cowboys, caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns last season in Dallas.
