Chinese Super League giants Guangzhou Evergrande have completed the capture of Paulinho, who will rejoin his former club next season.

Paulinho won a brace of CSL crowns in his first spell with Guangzhou after joining the club from Premier League side Tottenham, where he failed to make an impact, in 2015.

In total the Brazilian made 49 appearances for Barcelona, scoring nine goals and adding a further three assists in all competitions.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Brazil worldwide Paulinho joined Barcelona after the club activated his €40 million buyout clause.

"The level of the Chinese Super League has improved year by year and the development prospects are very good", Paulinho told Evergrande's official website.

Colombia's Yerry Mina is another player whose future appears uncertain at Camp Nou, with interest from Everton arising for the central defender.

A mainstay of Brazil boss Tite's side in Russia, Paulinho scored once in the 2-0 group-stage win over Serbia and played 73 minutes of their 2-1 quarter-final defeat by Belgium before being replaced by goalscorer Renato Augusto.

"I have an offer from China and another from another club, although it is not certain that I will go. I also hope to give The Super League more excitement!" The move for Arthur would be complemented by Yerry Mina's departure in order to comply to the La Liga registration rules.
