Chelsea agreed with Juventus for the transfer of Higuain

Sarri is believed to have agreed to bring former Chelsea favorite Gianfranco Zola - whose managerial career has stalled after a series of failures - along as one of his backroom staff.

But who is the Chelsea manager?

Higuain has been at Juventus since the summer of 2018 after joining the club in a record transfer from Serie A side Napoli.

According to the same story, Chelsea FC still have some work to do to complete a deal to make Sarri their next manager following a hard season under his compatriot Antonio Conte.

Roman Abramovich ought to get this manager mess sorted or Chelsea risk being unprepared for the season ahead.

Gonzalo Higuain seems to be looking to remain at Juventus this summer despite mounting interest in the Argentina worldwide.

Antonio Conte has clashed with Chelsea over pre-season plans and the date the players are due to resume training even though he is not expected to return to Stamford Bridge this summer. The two worked together superbly at Napoli and almost won Serie A that season.

The "Blues" spent big on Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid to improve their attacking options, but he had a disappointing campaign previous year scoring only 11 goals in the Premier League.

He struggled to find his form in Chelsea as he was able to score just 11 goals for the club and his position was under threat with the signing of Olivier Giroud from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

So, with Chelsea now likely to need to turn their attention away from Higuain, who else could they target?
