Harry and Meghan rode on a carriage.

In fact, Meghan is not only the first of the grandchildren to ride the royal rails, but she'll also be sleeping over.

Meghan Markle attended her first major royal event since going from Suits star to casual Duchess, and the pictures were iconic.

"(Meghan) was not as prominent perhaps as some people might have expected, but there's a pecking order", Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, told People magazine.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex during Trooping The Colour on the Mall on Saturday. So for her first ever Buckingham Palace balcony appearance, the former TV actress couldn't be front and center like she was at her May 19 wedding.

The train - which features full sized living rooms, toilets, bedrooms and even meeting rooms - is only entitled to be used by the Queen, Prince Philip, Charles and Camilla. According to the official royal website, "over 1400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together each June in a great display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark The Queen's official birthday".

Harry was spotted adorably prompting Meghan when to curtsy upon his grandmother's official arrival.

So as well as an opportunity for Fiji to welcome this exceptional couple, the visit of his Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be a symbol of our strong commitment to the Commonwealth and our continuing affection for the Royal Family.

You may have noticed that she was standing behind her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

However, their balcony position during Trooping the Colour had nothing to do with personal politics, and everything to do with a family "pecking order".

"She's got a wonderful sister-in-law for this, and of course the Queen, because the Queen is the ideal member of the family to follow".
