Before hitting the "America's Got Talent" stage, Hadwin previously competed on "The Voice Kids UK", where she made it to the final rounds of competition.

A 13-year-old from County Durham has wowed the judges of America's Got Talent, earning herself Howie Mandel's golden buzzer.

However, it was Howie Mandel who was really impressed by the performance.

Launching into Otis Redding's 'Hard to Handle', Courtney left the judges and everyone in the crowd completely speechless - jaws basically dropped everywhere.

For the rest of the song the audience are on their feet, as she belts out the 1968 song - and the performance finishes with a standing ovation from everyone in the auditorium. "You're like this shy little thing when you first came out". Then you sing and you're like a lion.

"You are not from this era". I am not Clive Davis, I am Howie Mandel and I can't sign you to a record deal. "I had a dream that you pushed the Golden Buzzer!"

The show first aired on NBC on Tuesday, May 29 and in the run up, Courtney could be seen on the advertising trailer.

This week her audition from America's Got Talent went on TV and the result was pretty wonderful!

Courtney competed in The Voice Kids UK previous year but missed out on the top prize.

With Hadwin headed straight through to the live shows, she's one step closer to that million-dollar prize.
