Conor McGregor's future - in and out of the cage - got little resolution today.

McGregor has not been seen in the Octagon since at UFC 205 when he won the lightweight title from Eddie Alvarez.

"I don't know what's going to happen", White told TMZ.

Speaking outside the court, McGregor said: "I regret my actions that led me here today". I don't know what Conor and his team have worked on.

The UFC star faced charges of criminal mischief, misdemeanour assault and menacing and reckless endangerment after he and some associates stormed a UFC event in New York City. McGregor then fought in a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather.McGregor's status as an active MMA fighter is on hold once again due to his recent arrest. He has also had problems with the law, as he was the leader of a bus incident during the week of UFC 223.

The charges were levelled McGregor's way after he and his friends attacked a bus at the Barclays Center, with the UFC's poster boy throwing a dolly through one of the vehicle's windows. He has been charged with three misdemeanor crimes and a felony.

McGregor is scheduled to be in a NY courtroom on Thursday to make his first appearance since posting bail following his bazaar antics in early April.

Notorious revealed last week in a caption of an Instagram post that he was supposed to fight at UFC 224 in Rio de Janeiro on May 12 but 'something came up.' His opponent for this fight was to be Rafael dos Anjos.
