Delivery from Whole Foods Market through Prime Now is available every day from 8 10 p.m.

Amazon Prime savings will come to more Whole Foods stores this week.

Amazon has expanded its Whole Foods grocery delivery service for Prime members to Philadelphia.

Amazon Prime's reach is extending further at Whole Foods Market. Whole Foods stores faced controversial food shortages just a few months ago.

The discounts, which take effect on Wednesday, apply to various products - such as fruit, meats, water and other snacks - and also include an additional 10 percent off various sale items.

With the expansion, Whole Foods stores in 23 states will have integrated Prime benefits at checkout. "Based on the positive customer feedback and successes we've seen over the past month, we're accelerating our timeline to expand these savings to all of our USA stores". At the cash register, they can have the cashier scan their phone to save some money on any item that was marked with a Prime savings sign in the store.

Since buying Whole Foods last summer for $13.7 billion, Amazon has been expanding perks at the grocery chain, including lowering prices on a number of grocery staples, including cereal, vegetables, beef and fruit. The discount applies only to Prime members.

Two-hour delivery through the service is free for Prime members, and delivery within one hour is $7.99 on orders of $35 or more.
