New details about Assassin's Creed Odyssey have emerged right before Ubisoft's E3 conference.

The long-running dance series is back this year, and it's coming out on every platform imaginable: PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Xbox 360, Wii U, and even the Wii. Maestro and Alibi have been revealed for the game but other than that, we didn't get any new information about its future.

As if all those weren't enough, we got to find out tonight that the game will get three different pieces of DLC bringing new stories, new areas, and new activities. And while some of these games such as The Division 2 were already shown of at Microsoft's E3 2018 event and others like Assassin's Creed Odyssey were announced prior to E3, the company's E3 showcase should hold a few surprises.


Naturally, though, there's more to the game than just combat.

There's a claim this changes the way Ubisoft tell stories in Assassin's Creed, which seems to come down to being able to lie to NPCs, make conversational choices, and have faction alliances. Watch the World Premiere trailer!

In terms of what to expect, Ubisoft will nearly certainly reveal more gameplay from its biggest franchises. The game features everything from the "snowy mountain peaks" to the "depths of the Aegean Sea", according to Ubisoft, which says it set the game during Greece's Golden Age.


Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is expected to release by March 31, 2019. We get to see some gameplay in action which you can also view below, teasing walking around the docks, customizing the character and ship.

The developers reiterated the ideology of the Templar Order versus the Assassins, such as the ideology of order vs free will and how both still remain to be grey, complex and very important part of the time that the developers are exploring in this Assassin's Creed.
