Is Halo Infinite an Open World Game?

From a new Gears of War strategy title to From Software's brand new IP, Microsoft hit every corner of gaming interest. Halo Infinite is the next chapter of the legendary franchise that is developed by 343 Industries and created with its new Slipspace Engine.

"The E3 demo showcases some of the exciting potential of this technology - everything you see is running in-engine", they wrote.

"The Master Chief returns in Halo Infinite-the next chapter of the legendary franchise", Microsoft says. Whereas "Ready to Start" is manually configured by developers as they build their game, FastStart studies how gamers play the title and works out which files are needed to begin playing the game. Microsoft's intent to acquire Ninja Theory will help ensure the creative team has the resources and freedom to bring more ambitious games like "Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" to fans.

While the total amount of new games announced by Xbox was itself impressive though, you could argue that anyone can have a good year.

At its E3 event, Microsoft shined a spotlight on upcoming Xbox One games from third-party publishers. For now, here's the E3 2018 announcement trailer.

Once the acquisitions are complete, Microsoft will have 11 game development studios. We also got an update on Crackdown 3 and a ton of new trailers, including Ori and the Will of the Wisps and From Software's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. We are thrilled to welcome five new studios into the Microsoft family.

"Sea of Thieves" from Microsoft-owned Rare Studios is one of two big Xbox One exclusive games this year that came to Game Pass at launch. 343 Studios outright states that the game is still in its early stages and we won't see it out for quite some time.
