Soorma is scheduled to release on July 13th of this year whereas Dhadak will roll out a week after on July 20th.

Incidentally, Ishaqzaade, too, was loosely inspired by Romeo and Juliet and went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2012.

I’m always by your side: Arjun Kapoor tells Janhvi

Post Sridevi's untimely demise, the growing bond between all of Boney Kapoor's kids, Arjun, Anshula, Jhanvi and Khushi has grown stronger.

Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, an official remake of Nagraj Manjule's Marathi blockbuster Sairat (2016), dropped its first trailer today. The first thing she told me was the things I needed to improve - she felt the mascara was smudged and it really bothered her.

In a series of tweets, Arjun, poured his heart out while wishing Janhvi the best of luck for her film.

Remembering her mother, the 21-year-old said, "The most helpful tip that mom has given me is to work hard and feel every emotion".

Of her role in Dhadak and stepping into the shoes of Rinku Rajguru, Sairat actress, Janhvi said, "What Rinku did with that character, I don't think any other actor can even touch it". But my character is different from hers. Ishaan is the younger brother of actor Shahid Kapoor.

The note could be further read as, "I just wanted you to know this profession is fantastic if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path and instinct".

Speaking about the concept, director saab added, "I am a Marwari so it was easier for me to adapt".
