First Man trailer: Ryan Gosling la la lands on the moon

Ryan Gosling fills the role of Armstrong in the film, with Emmy-winning The Crown actress Claire Foy playing Armstrong's wife Janet. Universal has unveiled the first official trailer for Damien Chazelle's highly anticipated next film, titled First Man, a look at the life of astronaut Neil Armstrong leading up to his voyage on Apollo 11 and first steps on the moon in July of 1969.

Ryan Gosling and Jimmy Kimmel dress up in spacesuits for an interview in outer space, well actually a soundstage in Los Angeles, for an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday (June 8).


Apart from the aforementioned cast, Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll, Pablo Schreiber, Ciaran Hinds, Lukas Haas, Jason Clarke, and Christopher Abbott are on the roster. A visceral, first-person account, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the cost-on Armstrong and on the nation-of one of the most unsafe missions in history. The film includes interviews with reporters, asking him hard questions.

"Do you think you're coming back?" one boy asks. He added that space exploration changes a person's perspective, allowing them to see things we should have noticed a long time ago. Mowgli, Aviron's Serenity and Annapurna's Where'd You Go, Bernadette?


The trailer begins with Armstrong (Ryan Gosling) entertaining the idea of becoming the first man to land on the moon.
