The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star was given an inaugural Influencer Award for her role in democratising fashion, taste and body shape. Here, we chronicle the good, the bad and the sarcastic social media reactions to Kim Kardashian's Influencer Award.

Last night, some of the fashion industry's most stylish stars descended on the Brooklyn Museum in NY for the 2018 CFDA Awards.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell received the annual Fashion Icon award, and iconic American designer Ralph Lauren a special tribute honoring his 50th anniversary in fashion.

The annual fashion awards were hosted by actress and producer Issa Rae, and recipients for the evening included fashion icon award victor Naomi Campbell, International award victor Donatella Versace, media ward Edward Enninful, lifetime achievement recipient Narciso Rodriguez and founder's award Carolina Herrera. Rae continued by saying, "That joke was my choice, just like slavery".

She was also joined at the award ceremony by Borns and Kehlani, who was accompanied by designer Phillip Lim. One of the biggest awards of the night was the Menswear Designer of the Year, that was given to none other than Supreme and accepted by the brand's founder, James Jebbia.

To accept the award she wore a Grecian goddess-esque two-piece which showed off her toned stomach.

"I'm super inspired by my husband fashion-wise", the star said.

The invites are sent to the style influencers and the whose who of the industry. And the award for accessory design went to perennial winners Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, and their label The Row.

Von Furstenberg was awarded the Swarovski Award for Positive Change, presented by Delaney Tarr, a student at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

In case anyone was doubting if Campbell deserved the Fashion Icon award, this outfit should quell those uncertainties.
