Toure slams ex-boss Guardiola in new interview

During eight seasons at City, Toure helped transform the club from a mid-table Premier League side to a regular at the summit of English football.

Toure accused the Spaniard of "unfair treatment" during his spell at Manchester City and formerly at Barcelona.

"Now Yaya has many offers from different countries, where they are ready to pay a lot of money, but we made a decision to dedicate the next season to Guardiola". He has set all of Africa against him, many African fans have turned away from Manchester City.

Gudjohnsen is one of the few players who was able to play under both of these world class managers.

"God sees everything. As a man who acted with Yaya, the legend of the club, which under different pretexts did not give the opportunity to go on the field", he said, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.

'And a top player with leadership qualities could never be a bad addition to a team, especially when he doesn't require payment'. But Guardiola has taken similarly disgusting actions on many occasions.

But while Guardiola has chosen to hold his peace by considering keeping quiet on the issue; Yaya's agent Dimitry Seluk has taken this a notch higher.

"There had already been some tensions", said Toure, who added that he was now taking responsibility for "being the one who smashed the myth of Guardiola".

The Russian agent also called Guardiola's appointment in Manchester "nasty" because his predecessor, Manuel Pellegrini, was still in the job at the time.

'I bet that Guardiola will not win the Champions League during this time, no matter how much money he has spent, but he likes to do it.

"Incidentally, I find it odd, the position Federation Internationale de Football Association has taken, when the manager has shown off his political biases to billions of people".

UEFA also handed Roma a further one game ban, suspended for two years. And his cheap populism.

"Many may say that it is Guardiola's style, that he plays spectacular football". The papers write a lot about Guardiola, although he as a person is not worthy of this attention.

"This testifies to the importance of personality".

"I have nothing to say about Toure".

"And I don't think he will ever win the Champions League again".
