According to Jeremy Cross, Chief Sports Writer of the Star, Pep Guardiola has made Chelsea's Eden Hazard his number one summer target and "is confident" of luring the 27-year-old to the Etihad Stadium after this season's successes.

Antonio Conte claimed that Chelsea do not have the players to be successful with a more expansive style of football after a dogged defensive display saw off Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

Courtois has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and its appears Chelsea need to win over their goalkeeper. What I can say, obviously we as players have no impact on that situation. From the campaign's start, it has been speculated that Roman Abramovich is ready to dismiss the manager, following fights about transfers, and Conte is expected to be relieved of his duties now it is over.

"I probably want the uncertainty to be put to bed and for whatever is going to happen, to happen", Cahill said after Saturday's win.

But that could not disguise the fact that the Londoners, champions in the previous season, finished a massive 30 points behind title-winners Manchester City.

"After a season with ups and downs, I think this feels really good".

However, despite finishing second in the league to a record-breaking Manchester City side, Mourinho's approach has been much-criticized this season for lacking the flair and invention displayed by City and Champions League finalists Liverpool.

"If I was Chelsea I would think three times about letting Antonio go", said the former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli but that does not consider. I can't change. I can't change. I'm the coach of a great, important club, in England and the world.

"This was to save our season", Cahill said before collecting the FA Cup.

"Unbelievable. You can see what it means to us, to the fans and the staff".

The Belgium forward has got two years left on his contract but he knows that if he wants to leave, he can do.

Hazard added: "If City keep playing like this, it is going to be hard, but you never know in football".

Courtois added: "I think that the transfer market has gone pretty insane".

"I am sure the club will make the best decision for what they feel. We're delighted to have the best here and Griezmann is one of them".

After the FA Cup triumph Hazard was asked by BBC regarding his uncertain future at Chelsea to which he replied; "Now I am just happy".
