As reported by AppleInsider, Caviar was initially only going to produce 99 units of the iPhone X Tesla, but based on pre-order demand will now make 999.

But this pricey accessory iPhone X accessory is offering a completely new innovation since it will power the device through solar energy that will be transferred into its own dedicated battery. Caviar said that the shock-resistant panel can charge the phone via sunlight or bright indoor lamps.

There is no sign of any formal connection between Musk's Electric-car business and Caviar, or even if the CEO is trendy with Caviar utilizing the title, however the iPhone X Tesla is now yours in case you've got a little bit of spare money knocking around. In terms of other specs, it is basically still just an iPhone X. Both prices are excluding taxes and custom duties, but Caviar noted in the release that the phone does come with an unexplained "personal consultant".
