$4300 iPhone X with attached solar charger goes on sale

As reported by AppleInsider, Caviar was initially only going to produce 99 units of the iPhone X Tesla, but based on pre-order demand will now make 999.

But Caviar, a company in Russian Federation, has jumped ahead of both companies by announcing the sale of their new "iPhone X Tesla" that can be charged entirely with sunlight, according to a recent press release. The thickness has increased from 7.7mm to 16.2mm and weight has increased from 170g to 260g.

The first unit, intended for Elon Musk, will feature an extra engraving of the words "Made on Earth by Humans", as a homage to the Tesla launched into space by SpaceX, another Elon Musk company. But this pricey accessory iPhone X accessory is offering a completely new innovation since it will power the device through solar energy that will be transferred into its own dedicated battery. Caviar said that the shock-resistant panel can charge the phone via sunlight or bright indoor lamps.

There is no sign of any formal connection between Musk's Electric-car business and Caviar, or even if the CEO is trendy with Caviar utilizing the title, however the iPhone X Tesla is now yours in case you've got a little bit of spare money knocking around. In terms of other specs, it is basically still just an iPhone X. Both prices are excluding taxes and custom duties, but Caviar noted in the release that the phone does come with an unexplained "personal consultant".

The 64GB model costs 284,000 rubles or $4,545, while the 256GB model costs 299,000 rubles or $4,831.
