First Trailer of Freddie Mercury Biopic Starring Rami Malek Released on YouTube

Following months of teases and a, the first full trailer for new Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, is finally here and we need it to be November already.

For nearly a year now, snippets of footage and pictures have slowly been revealed, but now, a full trailer has dropped and the wait has been worth it. The movie stars Mr. Robot's Rami Malek as Queen's frontman Freddie Mercury in a film that chronicles the band's rise and massive performance at Live Aid in 1985.

He took to Twitter to blast the studio, "Anyone else mildly annoyed that the "Bohemian Rhapsody" trailer features gay/bi superstar Freddie Mercury flirting with and twirling with a woman but no indication of his love of men?" The short clip also showcased numerous key moments in Queen's career, like the creation of their legacy, Bohemian Rhapsody, and the run up to their life changing performance at Live Aid in 1985.

Bohemian Rhapsody is scheduled for release in the U.S. on 2 November, however an Australian date is yet to be announced.

Director Bryan Singer was sacked from the film late previous year over his "unexpected availability", two weeks before principal photography was completed.

"He and the band reached unparalleled success and Freddie became one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet, cementing a legacy that continues to this very day". Facing a life-threatening illness, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. They inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers.
