Realme 1 Launched in India

Oppo on Tuesday launched a new sub-brand called Realme, which will take on the like of Xiaomi and Honor in the budget to mid-range segments. The device is aimed at the Indian youth and will be available online exclusively from Amazon India. The e-commerce platform already has a dedicated page live for the same. As of software, it runs on ColorOS 5.0, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.


As we Mentioned, in the Realme 1's back panel design that the company has shown, the smartphone can bear some similarity using the newly launched Oppo A3. The brand is called Realme, which sounds quite like Xiaomi's Redmi. The first sale will be held on May 25 at 12 pm. The Realme 1 is a dual-SIM smartphone with hybrid SIM slot that also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro and ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 both feature dual cameras - while the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 12MP+5MP combo, the M1 has a 13MP+2Mp configuration for its primary camera. In addition to Oppo, the retail devices are also filled with other offline-centric brands such as Vivo, Micromax, Lava or more recently, Nokia.
