Ahead of the launch, Honor has already confirmed that Honor 10 will be exclusive to Flipkart and will go on sale starting midnight of May 16. The Honor 10 will be available in two variants. The smartphone is expected to be priced at $249 (approximately Rs 16,200). We say major, as it is an offshoot of the third-largest cell phone maker globally, Huawei, and has been having moderate success with its Honor line in the USA, especially the budget 7X offering lately. Huawei is the next biggest smartphone marketplace worldwide while Honor has been able to break into the top five in India. With Honor 10, it will be trying to compete with OnePlus, which remains the most popular brand in the mid-range premium segment. The launch is set to kickstart at 2:00PM BST and the live stream will begin around 6.15PM in India. The company is using the hashtag #BeautyInAI to promote the device, which gives clear hint that there will be a lot of talk about AI being fused into camera and UI elements. These are specs from the Chinese variant of the Honor 10, but as already mentioned, the global model will probably share majority, if not all of them. The smartphone also comes with the glass back with that Aurora back gradient design that reflects patterns when seen against the light. For worldwide markets, Honor is anticipated to supply the smartphone just in Mirage Purple and Mirage Blue color. It features a 5.99-inch FullView display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Honor 10 sports really thin bezels, and it comes with the most powerful processor Huawei has to offer at the moment, the Kirin 970.
On the camera front, The Honor 7C will come with a dual-lens rear camera with a 13MP primary sensor along with 2MP secondary sensor for the depth effect.
At the front, the phone will feature a massive 24 megapixel sensor. It runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
