Rapper Drake just announced a new tour Monday morning - and it includes a stop in the Twin Cities.

You can add another of the world's biggest rappers to the Twin Cities summer concert calendar: Drake has confirmed an August 1 date at Xcel Energy Center on his newly announced 2018 tour. He'll hit the road with Migos this summer, with dates spanning the rest of 2018. Of the many stops on the itinerary, the rappers will be in Boston for not one but two nights at TD Garden, September 7 and 8.

The tour announcement follows the release of Drake's hit singles "God's Plan" and "Nice For What", leading up to his highly-anticipated fifth studio album Scorpion.

American Express card members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, May 15 at 10 am through Thursday, May 17 at 10 pm.

Toronto's own Aubrey Drake Graham is riding high, with his single "Nice For What" topping the Billboard top 100 chart in the US for four weeks; it was certified platinum in Canada within three weeks of its release.
