ICSE, ISC Board result 2018 declared: Swayam Das Class 10 topper

The results of Class X (ICSE) 2018 exams can be checked through Careers Portal of the Council, on the official website of the council and also through SMS, the statement added.

The results once declared will be available on cisce.org and examresults.net.

Abhijnan Chakraborty of Lilavatibai Podar School in Santacruz, and Tansa Shah of Cathedral and John Connon School in Fort, were among students that came first in the Class 12 exams, scoring 99.5 percent. Class 10 students will only have to score 33 percent and not 35, whereas class 12 students will have to secure 35 percent instead of 40 from 2018 examination onwards.

This year, the board conducted the ICSE 2018 examination from February 26 to March 28, 2018 at various test centres. More than 81,000 candidates took the ISC Class 12 boards exam this year. The change in the passing marks for the ICSE will be effective from this year and not from 2019 as communicated by the board earlier.

Though initially the council made a decision to implement it from next year, months later it chose to implement the changes this year onwards.

In 2017, Class 12th saw a pass percentage of 96.47, while 98.53% students passed class 10th.
