"We took two tires and just couldn't get it turned on the bottom".

"I guess they feel like they weren't making any progress with what they were doing", Martin Truex Jr. said. Gragson took four tires and quickly reeled in and passed Busch, his boss on the Kyle Busch Motorsports team.

Kyle Busch, who has the second most wins this season with three, will start third. "I think the goals and expectations will probably continue to adjust once I get through this week and kind of see where we're at and evaluate from there".

This does not bode well for all of the other drivers on the course as Harvick has been great on 1.5-mile tracks already this season. Darrell Wallace Jr. 22.

According to the latest oddsmakers at YouWager, Kyle Busch is favored to win today, as he has -120 to prevail. Qualifying is Friday night at 6:45, also on FS1. Some of the drivers on the list include 00-Landon Cassill, 15-Ross Chastain, 51-BJ McLeod, 55-Reed Sorenson and 66-Timmy Hill.

The race is Saturday at 8 p.m. and will be televised on FS1. He has five top-five finishes in his last six Kansas races - including a 2016 victory in this race. Truex won both races at Kansas last season on his way to the series title.

Kenseth will be splitting time in the No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Fusion with Trevor Bayne.

Harvick, who started on the pole, took early command of the race, and began lapping traffic after 14 laps. "I really won't know that until we start turning some laps and working together, and for me, that starts Friday morning". When he rejoined the race he was in 29th, one lap down.

"That one hurt really bad, but I'm fine", Byron said. He also enters the 1.5-mile oval with a win last weekend at Dover International Speedway.

Although he started the race in first, he had to battle all night. "I feel like they are heading in the right direction in a lot of different ways and I'm looking forward to hopefully being a part of that".

Kyle Busch enters Kansas with three wins and nine top 10 finishes this season and looks to tie Harvick in the amount of wins as the series nears the halfway point of the regular season.

Jennifer Jo Cobb (10) raced in the 37 Kind Days 250 at Kansas Speedway.

There's two things that make this race a little tricky for picking drivers. He finished in the top 10 here last spring and has four straight top-11 finishes in 2018.
