A major development has rocked Fortnite: Thanos, the super-powered baddie from Avengers: Infinity War, has made his way into the game. Remember: it's impossible to restore life when you're playing as Thanos.

Now in Fortnite, you can play a limited time mode themed around Avengers: Infinity War, where a gauntlet falls onto a battle royale map, bestowing its owner with the ability to play as the giant purple destroyer Thanos. In order to set the record straight on some of the MCU's mainstays, Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo were quizzed by Huffington Post on the status of a few fan-favorite characters. This ultimately lead to the idea of a crossover. "And after a bit of geeking out over each other's work, we start brainstorming these insane ideas", said Epic creative director Donald Mustard. "About an hour later, we had the bones of this awesome idea for a limited time gameplay mode, and nearly immediately our team got started", Mustard recalled.

Fortnite is available now in early access for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

But did he die in Avengers: Infinity War?

Smash: Thanos basically transforms into a bomb, leaping in the air and doing a devastating AOE attack, capable of taking out multiple players if they are in close proximity.

The new Fortnite update also makes some general changes, including lowering the height of the battle bus and a bigger storm circle at the start of matches.

Nakia - Black Panther's love interest Nakia probably lived through The Snap. In India itself, the movie has reached the milestone of becoming the highest grossing Hollywood film ever. Infinity War has officially crossed the $500 million mark at the domestic box office.

However, no announcement was larger than that of the Fortnite X Avengers Limited Time Mode, which featured Thanos, the main villain from the recently released Infinity War film, as a playable character and generated a massive amount of hype. It managed to collect $1 billion in just 11 days, so it's easy to imagine collecting another billion dollars is within possibility.
