Houston, Vegas has a problem with your Rockets.

The NBA has been anticipating a 2018 Western Conference Finals matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets for months.

They'll open on the road on Monday against the Rockets, who supplanted the Warriors as top seeds in the West this season with a league-leading 65 regular-season wins.

Curry, who returned for Game 2 after almost six weeks out with a knee injury, knocked down an open 3-pointer midway through the third and raised his hands to get the crowd going, then made another less than two minutes later.

"I've been here through the tough times and I've been here through the good times", said Favors, who has been with the Jazz the last 7 1/2 seasons.

Utah Jazz will be attempting to avenge and try their best to stay away from getting eliminated in Game 5 on Houston's home court advantage on Tuesday, while the Houston Rockets, meanwhile, will aim to wrap up the series and prep up for the Western Conference Finals. The Rockets are perhaps the only team in the National Basketball Association legitimately equipped to do that. Game 1 of the next series is to be announced.

The Golden State Warriors are fresh off a five-game series with the New Orleans Pelicans and are in their fourth straight conference finals.

Utah regained the lead on a basket by O'Neale before Houston used an 11-5 spurt, with the first five points from Gerald Green, to take a 92-87 lead with about seven minutes left.

Paul finished with 41 points on 13-of-22 shooting.

It was an appropriate end to a career playoff-best night for Paul, the same night he finally erased that black mark on his resume, the night he finally carried his team to the place he's never been.

"I think it easily could have gone the other way", said forward Joe Ingles.

However, per Paul in a post-game interview, Harden was under the weather yesterday. Paul averages 21.5 points, 9.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game while putting up a 58.5 percent true shooting and a 25.7 PER.

It is the first time that Chris Paul has advanced to the conference finals.

From starting the year with a 19-28 record, finishing the regular season winning 29 of 35 games, to making the conference semifinals, this season will go down as an unquestioned success.

"We're something special", Tucker said after detailing the way this entire group came together from a summer of seismic moves from Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, who put the pieces into place.
