Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Mo Salah for a transfer to go ahead this summer providing a deal can be brokered with Liverpool, claim the latest reports coming out of Madrid. He has only netted twice in all competitions.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp shares his thoughts on Mohamed Salah's contributions to the team outside of scoring.

The game has been billed as a battle between the 25-year-old and Real hotshot Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Reds' forward has already broken the record for most Premier League Player of the Month awards in a single season, picking up his third of the campaign in March.

With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - now more of a midfielder anyway - now out injured, Liverpool's main cover out wide is youngster Ben Woodburn, and having been somewhat fortunate that Mane and Salah have stayed fit this season, Liverpool need to address their depth this summer.

Salah collected the prizes at Anfield before taking a private jet to London to collect another one, the Football Writers' Association player of the year award.

'I'm very happy here, I'm very happy and everything is fine, ' Salah said. We have had an unbelievable year'.

'It is just the beginning. "On the way to the final we beat top teams like Manchester City and Roma".

The Kop attacker will then hope to fire the Reds over the line in the top four race on Sunday against Brighton.

"We want to qualify for the Champions League next season and then we want to win the Champions League final".

"I play for Al Zawra'a reserves, and watch how he plays tactically and I and try to copy him", he added.
