Apple Watch Series 3 LTE: SpecificationsAnnounced globally in September previous year, Apple Watch Series 3 is a big upgrade over its predecessor. Only Airtel customers on MyPlan Postpaid or Infinity Postpaid plans will be able to use with the Cellular variant, while both prepaid and postpaid subscribers both will be able to use it on Jio. With Apple's latest wearable, one wouldn't need to take their iPhone with their Apple Watch in order to make calls or receive notifications, all because of the Watch Series 3 LTE's seamless cellular connectivity.

The 38 mm variant of the watch is available for Rs 39,080, while the 42 mm model is being sold at Rs 41,120.

Apple Watch Series 3 FeaturesApple Watch Series 3 has a built-in cellular network. The watch, which comes in several variants, can now be purchased from Jio stores and Reliance Digital outlets. The Apple Watch Nike+, on the other hand, comes in both 42mm and 38mm cases and both the size options will be available in three different colour options.

Apple has finally announced the LTE version for the Series 3 Watch in India, starting May 11.

Additional services that will be available especially for the LTE Watch are music streaming with a new radio app that allows you to listen to Beats 1 live or other Apple Music radio stations.

Speaking about JioEverywhereConnect™ introduced for Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular), Jio Spokesperson, said, "The true potential of an advanced cellular technology powering Apple Watch Series 3, which is created to work best on a 4G network, can be unleashed only on an advanced full-4G network like Jio". However it does not mean that all carriers will support it as it will vary from country to country, so you will need to check with your carrier to see if Apple Watch LTE support is available. Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular allows customers to stay connected, make calls, receive texts etc., even without an iPhone nearby. However, it does need an e-SIM, which is now only offered by Airtel and Reliance Jio. On the bright side, it is offering Rs 5,000 cash discount for consumers buying using ICICI card.
