Nokia X reveals itself at TENAA, goes all in for the notch

Keeping in mind that this is a listing on TENAA, you can expect a lot of specifications to be revealed along with detailed images, of the smartphone that is expected to be launched in China on 16 May.

The device with a model number TA-1099 was listed on TENAA, revealing all its key specs.

HMD Global will launch its very first Nokia smartphone that features a display notch on May 16. This would give an aspect ratio of 19:9.

The Nokia X appears to feature an aluminum frame while its back seems to be protected by glass like the Nokia 8 Sirocco. This will be paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage capacity. Similar to the notches on other Android smartphones, the notch on the Nokia X is much narrower than the one on the iPhone X.

Under the hood, there's a 1.8GHz octa-core processor powering the device. There is expected to be 32GB / 64GB onboard storage, which will be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. As for specifications, the Nokia 6.1 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD 1080p display, Snapdragon 630 SoC, a 16-megapixel main camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear panel of the phone has a vertically stacked dual camera module above a fingerprint sensor. The user of this phone will get full 4G VoLTE support along with Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C.
