Chelsea have reportedly made initial contact with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of Edinson Cavani in a bid to secure a replacement for Alvaro Morata, should the striker return to Juventus this summer.

Victory on Sunday over Liverpool, coupled with Tottenham's shock defeat at West Brom, has reignited hopes of a top four finish, while there is also an FA Cup final against Manchester United to look forward to in under a fortnight's time.

The same article states that the Blues haven't agreed a fee contrary to some reports to sell their record signing less than 12 months after Morata moved to Stamford Bridge. The Spain global gave a candid interview to Marca over the weekend in which he revealed the extent of a debilitating back injury and the abuse he has received in the street.

Conte confirmed the 25-year-old will be fit to face Huddersfield in midweek and claimed the striker must concentrate on building a career with the Blues.

Pressed on links with Juventus, Conte added: "I don't like to comment on speculation".

Morata has scored just 11 goals in the Premier League this season for Chelsea. Now it is right for everyone to be focused on the present and finish this season in the best possible way.

"I think this season we dropped many points in a stupid way - especially in games where we dominated and created many chances but we were not able to score more goals". I think the situation is very clear. Your [the press] focus is only Morata, but I would like it if your focus was for the whole team.
